Bird Callers

If you don’t like to do it, it’s really no sense in doing it because when you don’t like to do it….the people listening can definitely tell it. It doesn’t sound like you’re one with the call.

Every year in Maryland, sportsmen of all ages come together to compete in bird calling competitions at the National Outdoor Show. Photographer Greg Khan talked to some of these callers about how they got into bird calling and the ties to their culture, history and future.
